Tulare County Academic Decathlon / Feb. 2, 2019

El Diamante High School Team #2 in Visalia won the championship title and the rights to represent Tulare County at the state academic decathlon 2019 competition. Students from eight high schools competed for the chance to advance to the state competition in Sacramento.

El Diamante High School Team No. 2 wins Tulare County Academic Decathlon title

After the final rounds of the 2019 Tulare County Academic Decathlon, El Diamante High School Team #2 in Visalia won the championship title and the rights to represent the county at the state academic decathlon competition. Students from eight high schools competed in two school categories – large school and small school – for the chance to advance to the state competition that will take place in Sacramento during the month of March.

Fresno and Stockton, get ready to laugh with George López

The multi-faceted start of TV, film, standup & late night TV, George López is coming back to the Central Valley to two locations near you. López is bringing The Wall comedy tour live to the Saroyan Theatre in Fresno on Saturday, May 25th. However, before López make a stop in Fresno in May, he will be performing at the Bop Hope Theatre in Stockton on Saturday, March 23. Both shows are at 8 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m.

Esmeralda Hurtado sworn onto Sanger City Council

Esmeralda Hurtado replaced her sister, state Sen. Melissa Hurtado, representing District 1 on the Sanger City Council. She was swore in by city manager Tim Chapa.
