Mafia role brings Solórzano more fame

Colombian actor Fernando Solórzano, who plays the powerful and terrible mafioso in Telefutura's TV series 'Las Muñecas de la Mafia' (Dolls of the Mafia), is very surprised on how popular his character Braulio Bermúdez has become.

"With this character, men are the ones who come up to congratulate me. At the beginning I didn't understand why. Especially because Braulio is arrogant, chauvinist, demanding and bossy," said the actor. "Then I realized that men have this fantasy about being a powerful guy, with a lot of money, who is always surrounded by beautiful women."

Away from the cameras, Solórzano admits to being a very peaceful and spiritual guy.

Solórzano has been happily married for 15 years and has three children.

"For me, the most important thing is the time I spend with my wife and kids," he said.
