Mexican television host Alan Tacher was ecstatic about lending his voice to one of the main characters in the Spanish version of Disney's animation film, 'Brave.'
He took on the project because of his boys.
"It's an honor to have worked on 'Brave' because of the project's quality and the importance of Disney. I did it for my children and because it's one of those movies that will last forever," Tacher said.
The movie -- Spanish and English versions -- is out now on DVD and Blue Ray in the United States.
Tacher said that working on this project was a "dream come true" and added that "I am fortunate that everything I ever wanted is coming true."
In 'Brave,' the TV host lends his voice to Lord Dingwall's character, a grouchy leader from one of the kingdoms who insists that his son marries Princess Merida, the main character in the movie.
Besides the film's release, Tacher is a new member on the set of 'Despierta América' (Univisión).
Tacher used to work for Telemundo hosting a reality show on quinceañeras and was a cohost on its morning show, 'Levántate.'
The TV host said that this change in his career allows him to be closer to his three children, since he felt guilty for not being with them most of the time.
In 'Despierta América,' Tacher hopes to do a lot more production work, which is an area he would love to do more of in the future.
