Without the work of Ricardo Tejedo, American actor Johnny Debb wouldn't speak in Spanish in hits like 'Alice in Wonderland' or the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' series.
The 37-year-old Tejedo has studied Depp's acting to do the voiceovers in Spanish for his movies, as well as dozens of other actors like Patrick Stewart ('Star Trek') and other Disney movies.
A movie actor in México, Tejedo said, can't make a living because of the lack of Mexican movies.
"There is no career for the dramatic art specialty," said Tejedo during a phone interview last Thursday.
Voiceovers run in Tejedo's blood. He did his first work for his father, also a voiceover artist, in 'Lost in Space' and 'Lassie.'
"I fell in love with it," said Tejedo, who also works as director for many movie voiceovers.
He is about among 100 Mexicans who do voiceovers.
'Alice in Wonderland,' which includes a Blu-Ray version, went on sale on June 1
